The Amazigh Community of the Bay Area is commemorating & celebrating the 10th anniversary of the assasination of Lounes Matoub, the most outspoken singer songwriter in Algeria. He was murdered on June 25 1998 in Kabylia. He was 42.
The event will be held at The Hillside Club, where Lounes performed in 1993 on his only trip to California.
